QUALIFICATIONS

 

How do I know if I qualify for a Power Wheelchair?

If you have minimum Medicare Part B coverage and have any of the following medical diagnoses or any other condition that prohibits you from walking unassisted in the home and self-propelling a manual wheelchair in the home.

  The patient must be capable of safely operating the controls of a Power Wheelchair.

  • Respiratory Failure

  • CHF (Congestive Heart Failure)

  • CVA (Stroke)

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Degenerative Joint Disease

  • Amputation

  • Muscular Dystrophy

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Renal Failure

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • Diabetic Neuropathy

  • ALS- Lou Gehrig’s Disease

  • COPD

  • Polio

  • Spinal Stenosis

  • Hemiplegia / Quadriplegia

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Asthma w/COPD

  • Emphysema
